Bee Symbolism ~
Ahh To Be Lucky In Love

Bee Symbolism. . .   "Looking for a good luck charm for love?  Look no further than the little humble bee, buzzing about and doing the waddle dance, he is a potent symbol of love in sweet abundance". Legend has it that Bee is an ancient symbol representing Kama the God of Love.

Humble Bee as referenced above, is the name given to the Bumble Bee by no other than Charles Darwin, when observing the gentle demeanor of the Bumble Bee.  The Bumble Bees disposition is entirely different than the more aggressive Honey Bee... Bumble Bee only stings if threatened, Bumble Bee avoids contact with humans and animals and it's stinger has no barbs so she happily lives on if indeed she uses her ultimate defensive weapon.

Bee Meaning. . .

Ahh to have wings and be totally free, that is the ultimate dream is it not?  The Bee has mystified scientists for eons as to how this insect can possibly take flight taking into consideration it's size, physics dictates that it's just not possible, particularly with such small and fragile wings.  As it turns out, the conclusion to this mystery is that the bees wings beat so fast that it creates the energy necessary to lift the Bee and give it flight.  Therefore the Bee is a marvelous symbol of the idea that anything is possible... Bee seems to have the magic of believing down, he has conquered what so many of us dream of, to take flight and soar through the sky.  Humming and buzzing through the air the hum of the Bees wings sing the song.... "I believe I can fly"...! And I love that it conveys the meaning "to have the height of excellence", a premiere shining message of royal Bee symbolism.

Bee Spirit Animals & the Field of Dreams and Abundance Dance

The field of flowers is a field of dreams to the mystical Bee spirit animal.  The field represents bounty and opportunity for wealth creation.

Bee performs an intriguing dance of abundance, as it finds a rich field full of flowers it returns to the hive and begins an intricate dance.  Each movement tells a story of the location, the direction and the distance of the field or garden .  When the dance is done the Bees take off in succession all following the virtual map as told in the dance.  The dance of the Bees is more commonly known as the waggle dance.

There is also a dance called the Dance of the Bees, a seductive dance done by Egyptian women as they disrobe, symbolizing the potent attributes of male energy and the stinger of the Bee.

Because of Bee's instinctive understanding of abundance and knowing how abundance can lead to prosperity, Bee is a superb symbol for entrepreneurs or business owners who are skilled at motivating and engaging a team, to create something fantastic for the greater good of all ~ this is the special magic of the Bee, to be inspired by the panorama of the field of dreams.

Bee's have always been associated with royalty, and perhaps it is due to it's never-ending dance with abundance and success, and also it's dominion over a territory.  Bee symbolism speaks the message "opportunity is always out there if you have the will to go seek it out".

Bee as a Symbol of Love

Bee symbolism buzzes of sweetness and love in oh so many ways.  It collects naturally sweet nectar, and it it creates divinely sweet honey.  In fact the scent of the honey is so alluring that Bears can catch it's fragrance for 2 miles.

The hive of the Bees is the heart and soul of the Bee community, similar in shape to a heart the hive is filled with rich nurturing energy.  Bee lives from the heart, from the source of overflowing abundant love.

Bees are powerful symbols of attraction, they are attracted to what they desire, and they are lured by the feminine energies and colors of pink, red, yellow, orange.

Display beautiful Bee art in your home, particularly your bedroom to attract the true love you desire, or on a coffee mug to discreetly send out the vibrations of the love you want to attract.  There are so many ways, just use your imagination.  Speaking of imagination... the hive is constructed in the shape of a hexagon, which has 6 sides... in numerology the number 6 vibrates at the power of imagination, so yet another secret power of Bee symbolism reveals itself in mystical ways.

Bee Symbolism ~ Totem Animal for the Powers of Success

Bee spirit guide appears for you to bring you the messages of abundance, cooperation, working cohesively for the community... as a team.

Bee is a powerful motivational symbol of having and accomplishing a mission, a defined goal knowing success is the ultimate outcome.

Bee has a common catch phrase... to be busy as a bee, the term radiates confidence, flow and joy of what you are doing.  Bee is a powerful totem ally in helping you focus on what it is you want to achieve, and following through with the work to get it done.

Bee is a valiant symbol of success, and combined with his power of believing that he can achieve anything, he becomes an unstoppable force of nature.

To balance the drive of the Bee, the Bee and it's creation of honey also represents enjoying the sweet rewards of your work.  Bee symbolism brings the blessings of both work and reward in perfect harmony.

The Bees knees... the meaning of a long ago phrase

A long ago phrase from another time that I only hear when I watch TCM (Turner Classic Movies), is "the bees knees".   Beginning in the 1920's a wide range of phrases coined with the meaning 'an outstanding person or thing' or 'having the height of excellence' emerged... examples include the flea's eyebrows, the canary's tusks, the bees knees, the cat's meow to name a few.   Alas the popular phrases from our grand parents, or great grand parents era like "the bees knees", have changed into today's pop culture sayings like;  "the bomb, the shizzle, and that's hot".  Isn't it the cutest phrase though.... the bees knees!

Love & Success is in the air and in sweet abundance...
speaks the Bee
