Archangel Jophiel. . .   The meaning of Jophiels name is "Beauty of God, Divine Beauty, or My Rock is God".  As the beauty of God, Jophiel is in charge of all things beautiful, such as a sunrise, or the moonlight. There are so many beautiful things, and Jophiel is the archangel in charge of revealing all beauty to mankind.

Jophiel is very much like the Greek cupid, striking mortals with awesome beauty. He is responsible for people falling in love and for the passion one feels for their occupation. Jophiel makes one to be enraptured by the beauty of music and to be drawn in by a work of art. 

Jophiels name also means "My Rock is God" which translates to God being the stability of Jophiel. As such, Jophiel provides stability to those who are insecure. If you are going through times of uncertainty, Jophiel brings a stable environment and clear direction to put you on a solid path. In times of trouble, Jophiel brings a beautiful peace to help you and give you comfort.

Summoning Meditation for Archangel Jophiel. . .

If you were to summon Jophiel, you would summon her from the east, at the rising of the sun as it comes up in the morning. You would need an hourglass, the most inspiring work of art that you can find, a small bouquet of flowers, dining utensils and a glass of red wine.

Find a place to get a clear view of the rising sun. Bring all of your elements with you and set them on the ground. Sit down on the ground cross legged and place your artwork in front of you. Put the hourglass in the middle of the artwork. Place your utensils on either side of the art. Use a trivet to place your wine on ( you can use red grape juice ). Put the flowers above the artwork.

Turn your hourglass to start. With your eyes closed speak these words, "Jophiel, show me the beauty of the world, Jophiel show me the beauty of God, Jophiel show me the beauty of my own heart" Once you have said this, open up your eyes and take up the glass of wine, sipping it through the entire hour and finishing it before the sand runs out of the hourglass. "Feast your eyes" on the beauty of the art piece, or photo ( it can be the photo of someone you love ).

Picture Jophiel as the rising sun. Once the hourglass has finished, your ceremony is complete. Expect a revelation from Jophiel the following day of some divine form of beauty.

You find the car you want and the color. Jophiel is the one that gives you the desire for that car, and for the color choice. So, Jophiel influences you personal tastes in what you find to be beautiful.
Jophiels name also means "God is my rock" as I have mentioned. This not only refers to emotional stability, but to "faith". Jophiel is an angel that increases your faith! When you have lost hope and feel like things never go your way, Jophiel gives you the faith to believe in God and in yourself. You may have a hard time believing in yourself. Jophiel will give you the confidence you need to rise above your doubts and fears. He will also give you the faith to believe in a loving God that has your best interests in mind.
